For this styled shoot we went a little outside the box. Winter, bridal and black! The beautiful light we had that morning almost masked the fact that it was very much below freezing. Though we were hoping for snow-covered ground, the beautiful light we had forced a change of plans, Winter wonderland as envisioned was officially canceled. Even as I type this, all I see is large puddles of water on the sidewalks. We can't win. Either it's below freezing and no snow, or just unseasonably mild, I sure ain't complaining about the latter.
Agnes was our gorgeous model. Her hair pinned into a small chignon and smokey eyes to die for! She held a beautiful bouquet which perfectly embraced the winter season. The skirt was layers beyond layers of black tulle, though still light and airy. At times, the wind picked up and almost as if asking for a dance, it gracefully lifted the edges of the skirt while at the same time letting the light shine right through. For some drama, we added a cloak to mimic an alternative version of Little Red Riding Hood. Almost as if this were a fairytale. Like I said before, we got a little bit creative with this one. Though the elements (okay just the brutal cold) forced us to speed things up a little. Nevertheless we captured the images below.
