I had a vision of a low-key, casual and somewhat boho inspired styled shoot. My vision had to come together quickly as I realized the summer daylight was dwindling every day. I pictured a young dark-haired bride sans veil, rather with a unique headpiece centered perfectly on her head. An ivory dress and a lush floral arrangement was also a must. Her handsome beau was a bonus, but suspenders and a bow-tie were the requirement. All this was twirling in my head….in a prairie, surrounded by tall grasses. Some Queen Anne's Lace and Prairie Sunflowers in the foreground of a beautiful summer evening’s light. My vision couldn’t have been successful without some awesome people who made it all possible. Thank you to Adriana for being my young, dark-haired boho bride and her real-life handsome beau, Zack. Another special thank you goes out to Mary Peterson Rehak for her beautiful floral creations and to Iwona Bec for her craftiness and talent in creating Adriana’s pearl-drop headpiece. The vision unraveled at the Paul Douglas Forest Preserve in Hoffman Estates, Illinois and captured in the images below.
